You can save the mobile app to your Chromebook, Apple iOS, or Android device by opening the login page in a Chrome browser and clicking the displayed prompt or by navigating to “Settings” and clicking “Add to Home Screen.”

Can I accept customer payments via Eclipse Scheduling?
Yes, Eclipse Scheduling allows you to customize your billing procedures and automatically charge customers’ credit or debit cards at a certain time period prior to service delivery or at the start of service delivery. Alternatively, you can elect to send customers an invoice after service delivery which they can pay manually or automatically using a saved payment card.
Can I issue providers payment via Eclipse Scheduling?
Eclipse Scheduling allows you to send providers remittance records, manage payment schedules, and integrate providers’ payment preferences directly within the Eclipse Scheduling platform. However, at this time, Eclipse Scheduling does not have the ability to issue provider payments. We are exploring integrations to address this need and encourage interested subscribers to share their preferred payment platforms on the “Request a Feature” page (only accessible when logged into your Eclipse Scheduling account).
What is a “provider?”
A “provider” is a generalized term that refers to your end-service provider. Because Eclipse Scheduling is compatible with multiple industries, provider is an all encompassing term to include interpreters, captioners, transcribers, translators, editors, proofreaders, SSP’s, and any other provider which you coordinate as part of your service catalog.
What is the difference between a “customer” and “consumer?”

A “customer” refers to any user role who is permitted to request services on behalf of a company. Eclipse Scheduling has three customer roles, each with differing permissions to meet the diverse organizational structures we serve:

  • Supervisor – a supervisor-role is an unrestricted customer-user who can request and approve other users’ requests for services from the admin company. This is the only user who has access to the Customer Company’s billing details.
  • Consumer – a consumer-role is a restricted customer-user who can request services only for themselves and/or on behalf of other customer-users within the same company. Consumers are intended to be a recipient of the requested services. Consumers cannot see billing information and their requests, including all modifications to their request, will have to be approved by their assigned supervisor.
  • Staff – a staff-role is a restricted customer-user who can request services on behalf of other customer-users within the same company. Staff cannot request services for themselves, cannot see billing information, and their requests, including all modifications to their request, will have to be approved by their assigned supervisor.
Can Eclipse Scheduling manage services in multiple time zones?

Yes, Eclipse Scheduling is capable of juggling all your customers and service providers, no matter how many time zones you service. The platform will automatically adjust to your local time zone when you log in and converts booking details to your local time zone. Even better, Eclipse Scheduling’s dynamic service setup allows you to select whether your billing and payment schedules will run according to the admin’s local time zone, the provider’s time zone, or the customer’s time zone.

Is there a limit to how many users I can add to my Eclipse Scheduling account?
Absolutely not! Eclipse Scheduling is designed to support the growth of your business; not hinder it. That’s why we include 1 admin account, 50 active provider accounts, and unlimited customer accounts with your monthly subscription. Need more? Is there a limit to how many bookings I can create?
Absolutely not! Eclipse Scheduling is designed to support the growth of your business; not hinder it. That’s why we include 200 booking credits with your monthly subscription. Each credit allows you to add 1 provider to a booking. Need more? Simply create additional bookings and add providers as you need, and Eclipse Scheduling’s “Pay-as-You-Grow” plan will only charge you for what you use. Don’t worry – we never deduct your credits for unbillable-cancelled bookings.

About Us

What is Eclipse Scheduling?
Eclipse Scheduling is the first, all-inclusive scheduling platform exclusively designed for the interpreting, translation, and accommodations industries, created by an agency within the profession. The platform operates as an end-to-end service management tool to intake customers’ service requests, guage provider availability, schedule the most qualified provider, collect feedback on service delivery, issue invoices and remittances to your respective clients and providers, review reports, and manage new provider onboarding and new client leads. Integrating multiple tools into a single platform, Eclipse Scheduling serves as your business’ control center with features that aim to save your team time and optimize your customers’ satisfaction.
When was Eclipse Scheduling created? By who? Why?
Eclipse Scheduling was the inspiration of two co-founders in the interpreting and accommodations profession, Tyler Herron (CEO) and Shelby Edwards (CXO). After emerging as leaders of quality interpreting services in their local community, the co-founders discovered that one of the biggest challenges impeding their growth was the absence of an intuitive, all-encompassing scheduling tool. Despite testing multiple solutions commonly used within the industry, Tyler and Shelby realized that the scheduling solutions on the platform simply weren’t designed for the interpreting, translation, and accommodation professions. During an intensive two-year period, they surveyed dozens of other interpreting agency owners and researched and designed an innovative platform that addresses the gaps in features and functionality most commonly expressed by agency executives and coordinators. On June 15, 2022, Eclipse Scheduling launched its MVP platform, dedicated to continued development and integration of what interpreter agencies report needing most for their growth and success!
What industries can utilize Eclipse Scheduling?

Eclipse Scheduling was specifically designed to manage the complex operational needs of companies within the interpreting, translation, and accommodation sectors, including spoken language interpreting services, sign language interpreting services, Typewell and CART captioning services, translation and localization services, and SSP and disability support services. While Eclipse Scheduling was designed to improve inclusion through innovation, our agile platform can also be adapted to another of other service provider-based industries, including:

What is different about Eclipse Scheduling compared to other scheduling solutions?

Eclipse Scheduling stands apart from other platforms on the market due to its agile ability to adapt to your business’ unique operation and pricing structures. Eclipse Scheduling serves as an end-to-end control center that enables you to manage your business from a single platform from provider and client onboarding, to service request intake, surveying service providers’ availability and qualifications, issuing invoices and remittance records, and reviewing detailed reports of your business’ operations. But this is just the start! While other scheduling platforms have solidified their product and show reluctance toward client feedback and customizations, Eclipse Scheduling encourages clients to share their feedback, frustrations, and desires so we can continue to develop a platform that meets the evolving needs of your business.
